Unlocking Your Best Smile with Invisalign Clear Aligners

Pawley Orthodontics is the discerning patient’s  first choice for not only quality-experienced, high-standards, modern brace & wire treatment, but also for Invisalign clear aligner care,  as well. For some, the idea of traditional braces can be daunting. In fact, some individuals may even choose to endure crooked teeth rather than embark on the journey of braces. Fortunately, clear aligners offer a discreet alternative, allowing you to undergo orthodontic treatment without anyone being the wiser. This makes them particularly appealing to many seeking a more concealed & hygienic path to a beautiful smile.

How Do Clear Aligners Transform Your Smile?

Clear aligners represent a breakthrough in orthodontic technology. Each set of aligners is meticulously customized to fit every tooth in your mouth. Over the course of your treatment, you’ll receive new aligners approximately every 1-2 weeks. These aligners work their magic, gently shifting your teeth into their desired positions.

The advantages of clear aligners extend far beyond aesthetics:

Discover the Benefits of Clear Aligners

  • ^Discreetness: Clear aligners are virtually invisible, allowing you to undergo orthodontic treatment without drawing attention.
  • ^Freedom and Comfort: Unlike traditional braces, clear aligners won't disrupt your daily life. They're comfortable to wear and can be removed when necessary, whether you're indulging in movie popcorn or attending a special event. For optimal results, it's recommended to wear them as much as possible.
  • ^Easy Oral Hygiene maintenance: It can be hard to maintain your oral health while wearing traditional braces. Flossing is made much more difficult and plaque can build. Aligners allow for easier brushing and flossing throughout your treatment.
  • ^Swift Results: You can anticipate noticeable improvements in as little as 6 months, depending on the complexity of your case.
  • ^Convenience: Clear aligners typically require fewer office visits compared to traditional braces, offering greater flexibility in your schedule. We even offer virtual appointments when an in-person visit isn’t possible.
  • ^Personalized Treatment: With our state-of-the-art scanners, we can provide you with a simulated preview of your future new & improved smile. Unlike many Invisalign providers, Dr. Pawley personally tailors your treatment plan to your unique occlusion and teeth, ensuring a 100% custom fit and the greatest aligner-achievable corrections.

Common Questions

What is Invisalign treatment?
2
3

Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.

Invisalign clear aligners are made of flexible plastic — specifically, a patented thermoplastic material called SmartTrack® created exclusively for Invisalign treatment.

Invisalign clear aligners contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten. They are thin, clear, and fit snugly over your teeth, making them virtually invisible.

How will Invisalign treatment straighten my teeth?

Dr. Pawley will create a unique, digital treatment plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth. Your Invisalign clear aligners are then designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan. Dr. Pawley will be with you every step of the way to monitor your progress and ensure your aligners fit correctly.

How long does it take for Invisalign to work?
2
3

The length of treatment depends on multiple factors, like how complex your case is and how often you wear your aligners. Dr. Pawley will determine exactly how long your treatment will take based on your specific needs.

What does Invisalign cost?

Treatment prices vary since they are based upon type of treatment, length of treatment and complexitry of the case. At your complimentary exam, we provide you with an exact amount fee for your treatment based on your specific needs.

How do I take care of my Invisalign?

The best way to clean your aligners is to use the Invisalign Cleaning System, available online or from our clinic. You can also brush them with a toothbrush and toothpaste and rinse them in lukewarm water. Never use hot water on your aligners — it could permanently warp the plastic.

What do I do if I break or lose my Invisalign?
2
3

If you lose or break an Invisalign aligner, immediately let us know. We will work with you to ensure you stay on-track with your treatment plan, which may involve wearing a previous set of aligners, your next set of aligners, or ordering replacement aligners.

How long do I have to wear them?
2
3

Dr. Pawley will tell you how long to wear your aligners each day, but typically people wear their Invisalign aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out just for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.

Will my teeth move after my treatment is finished?

We recommend that anyone who has completed orthodontic treatment, whether with braces or Invisalign treatment, use a retainer to prevent teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position. Every case is different, so we will let you know during treatment if you need retainers.
